HP Mini 210-1050NR 10.1-Inch Silver Netbook - 9.75 Hours of Battery Life Review
The piece arrived and I was quite surprised at how small it was. But opened it, switched it on, and it worked FINE! MS office was loaded and so was AutoCAD... and we are running along just fine between excel ,Powerpoint, Word and Autocad files. Smalll screen and scrolling took about a week to get used to... and once you are used to it, then its fine.
the internet connections and the wireless connxn worked like a charm. I have had no issues with it and am HAPPY with the purchase. A small idea would be to leave a data card around, so that before a flight, you can load your movie or songs onto that, and save the battery. The battery has been good and i guess 4-6 hous with wi-fi is what I get when I visit my site offices... what keeps me smiling is also the fact that i have not been able to get any dings or scratches on it. HDD space is good, (knowing what I was buying helped :-P )USB Ports are adequate- but did I hear that you could chrge out of one port when the lapop slept- wrong. laptop sleeps- USB charging stops- very annoying o find yourself faced with a 4 hour drive and a drained iPod.
Would I buy this again- yes- the upgraded screen (HD level) would help. One HDMI out would be necessary going forward... but YES_ I like, and will buy again.
